Thank you to The Washington Post for featuring 91-year-old Asbury Methodist Village, Hugh Valentine, in its article on the Buffalo Thunder ride. After two years of a pandemic pause, Hugh joined hundreds of Black motorcyclists in Washington, D.C. for the annual Memorial Day tribute to the post-Civil War, all Black regiments of the Army, known as Buffalo Soldiers.
