Fortune Names Asbury a 2020 Best Workplace for Aging Services

Asbury Earns #20 Spot on 2020 Fortune Best Workplaces in Aging Services

Asbury Communities has been named one of the nation’s Best Workplaces in Aging Services based on associate feedback to the Great Place to Work Trust Index Survey. In particular, 90 percent of associates said Asbury is doing everything necessary to reduce the impact of COVID-19 on the organization and that Asbury is a physically safe place to work.

“Our associates have held true through this unprecedented challenge to show what Asbury is all about: combining expertise and compassion to deliver incredibly high-quality care, and to support their fellow associates in doing the same,” said Doug Leidig, President and CEO of Asbury Communities.

This year, Asbury associates have overcome challenges no one has ever faced during the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic. Through it all, associates have held true to show off what we’re all about here at Asbury: combining expertise and compassion to deliver incredibly high-quality care to those we serve.

Great Place to Work, a global people analytics and consulting firm, evaluated more than 60 elements of team members’ experience on the job. These included the extent to which employees trust leaders, the respect with which people are treated, the fairness of workplace decisions, and how much camaraderie there is among the team. Rankings are determined by associates’ feedback and reward companies who best include all employees, no matter who they are or what they do for the organization. The ranking considered feedback representing 189,159 employees working for Great Place to Work-Certified™ organizations in Senior Housing & Care and At-Home Care in the Aging Services industry.
