This Privacy Statement describes the way Asbury Communities, Inc., and its affiliated entities (“Asbury”) will manage personal information obtained from job applicants and potential job applicants.
Information We Collect
In the course of your application being submitted, Asbury will receive and hold personal information, such as:
- Contact information such as your name, home address, email address or phone number.
- Information contained in your resume or other documents related to your application.
- Information about your visa status and authorization to work.
- Demographic information such as your age, gender, ethnicity, disability, and veteran status
- Any other information you choose to provide.
Uses and Disclosure of Your Information
Asbury will use the information you have provided for the following purposes:
- Considering your suitability for employment.
- Arranging interviews.
- Where applicable, providing an offer of employment.
- Contacting you with details of future roles which may be of interest to you.
- Complying with employment law obligations; and
- Undertaking general statistical analysis and reporting, including candidate activity and demographic reports.
Asbury will not disclose your personal information except to law enforcement, regulatory or other government agencies or third parties to comply with legal or regulatory obligations or requests.
Storage and Security of Personal Data
Asbury will abide by the following protocols regarding the storage and security of personal data:
- Your information will be stored in the applicant tracking system for three years.
- Access to personal data is restricted by administrative login and controlled by the corporate office.
- Reasonable and appropriate measures will be taken to ensure the security of personal data.
