Before serving at Asbury, Michele retired from the City of Gaithersburg as the Legislative Affairs Manager and the Director of Parks, Recreation and Culture. Prior to that, Michele was an Executive Director for a YMCA. “My primary goal is to assure that we provide the very best quality of life for residents and associates of this community, honoring Asbury’s Mission to do all the good we can for those we serve. During my 20-plus years serving the City of Gaithersburg I developed close ties with Asbury Methodist Village and the dynamic people who live here, serving on its Community Advisory Committee. I have always admired the culture and respected that Asbury is an innovator and leader in senior living. I am eager to help lead its nearly 100-year legacy forward and strive for greatness every day.”
Simone Brock
Associate Executive Director, Residential Living
“We are dedicated to providing transparency, collaboration, and accountability to residents, families and associates by building and sustaining a culture of safety, dignity, and compassion for those we serve. We passionately assist residents and their families in their ‘life journey,’ as well as serve as a champion for residents to lead a healthful and purposeful life through engagement. We continue to be the top senior living community committed to innovation, wellness, and enrichment to ensure all residents are living their BEST life.”
Rev. Dr. Malcolm Frazier
Director, Pastoral Care and Counseling
“Being a native of Gaithersburg, this position brings my ministry back full circle, back to the place where I was nurtured and embraced my calling to be an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church. One of the roles of the pastoral counselor is to be the hearer and interpreter of stories. As I have provided pastoral care, the value of personal narrative is evident. It is my honor to be part of this new ministry at Asbury.”
Rachel Karish
Associate Executive Director, Health Care
“It is my great pleasure to ensure that the people who live at or are receiving short-term care from Wilson Health Care Center are getting the highest quality of service possible and that it is always delivered with skill and compassion. It is my privilege to lead a team of professionals who are Mission focused and who strive to deliver their very best each day. The strong relationships we develop with each other and with the residents of Wilson Health Care Center create a family atmosphere that you can feel.”
Rob Walker
Director, Protective Services & Transportation
“Providing residents with 24/7 security and medical attention in their time of need, supporting them through transportation, and ensuring their calls to the Gatehouse, and those from their family members, are answered quickly, professionally, and handled successfully is our primary goal day in and day out. It is my pleasure to serve the residents, family members, and associates of Asbury Methodist Village.”
